Get started with ArenaSwap

Install the ArenaSwap extension, choose your leagues, open two live streams, and watch it switch your tab to the better game automatically.

Install ArenaSwap, answer three quick questions, and you’re a few minutes from watching it grab your tab the moment a game gets good. Here’s the whole path, start to finish.

Install the extension

Grab ArenaSwap from the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, or the Edge Add-ons store, depending on your browser. Installation adds an icon to your toolbar and opens the setup flow automatically.

The setup flow opens with a welcome screen covering three things:

  • Automatic tab switching
  • You register tabs to games
  • You stay in control, with a pause switch and tunable settings

Click Got it to continue.

Choose your leagues

Next you’ll see Which sports do you watch?. ArenaSwap tracks 31 leagues across basketball, football, hockey, baseball, softball, and soccer, grouped by sport with an All checkbox per group. NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB are checked by default. Leave those checked, or pick your own leagues. Then click Next.

Only a league you’ve enabled here gets tracked. You can revisit this list any time in Settings.

Pick your teams

ArenaSwap fetches the team list for the leagues you just picked and shows Pick your teams. Tap a team to star it. Starring gives a game a small scoring bonus whenever that team plays. ArenaSwap then favors that game over an equally exciting one between two teams you don’t follow.

Nothing here is required. Star as many teams as you want. Click Done when you’re finished, or click Skip instead to move on without starring anyone.

Take the tour, or jump right in

You’ll land on You’re all set!. Click Take the tour for a guided walkthrough of PowerScore, tab assignment, and settings. Click Jump right in instead to go straight to the main screen. Either way, the tour isn’t gone for good. The ? button in the top bar replays it whenever you want.

Open two streams

Now for the real thing. Open two live games in two separate browser tabs, on whatever site you already stream them from. Don’t have two live games handy right now? Turn on Demo mode and use its scripted games instead. Then come back here.

Assign each tab to a game

Back in the ArenaSwap popup, find each game’s card. Use its — Assign a tab — dropdown to pick the browser tab you opened for that game. The game then moves into the Active Tabs section at the top of the list. ArenaSwap also starts muting every managed tab except the one you’re actively watching.

Watch it switch

Leave both tabs open and let ArenaSwap run. As soon as one game’s PowerScore pulls far enough ahead of the one you’re watching, your browser jumps to that tab on its own. It unmutes the new tab and mutes the one you left. If you turned on Switch notifications, a banner tells you the score and why it switched.

That’s the whole loop. You register a stream, and ArenaSwap decides when it’s worth your attention. You don’t have to check in yourself.

What’s next

Do I need an account to use ArenaSwap?

No. ArenaSwap has no account and no sign-in. It installs, asks which leagues and teams you like, and starts working.

Does ArenaSwap work on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge?
